I really love the following quote from Ellie Drake, founder of BraveHeart Women, which she wrote in an inspirational card set titled, “It’s Easier Done Than Said.” It expresses exactly what my purpose and inspiration for Comfort & Joy English is.
To own one’s voice is to own one’s true power. The origin of this power is self-esteem. The origin of self-esteem is trust in the power that created us. To own my voice, to unleash the sound of my spirit, to communicate the energy of my deeper self, means that I am always singing my song, the unique song of my being-ness.
When that quality emerges, others who listen will be inspired to sing theirs.
