Now you can learn English in the comfort of your own home, workplace, or anywhere you can access the Internet. Comfort & Joy English offers several different courses designed for women with low-intermediate to advanced English communication skills. Depending on your language goals and interests, you may select from one of our four courses listed below or combine them to create your own.
Course: We Are Sisters
This course is created especially for women who desire a “soul to soul” connection with other women in a safe and nurturing environment where they can feel free to talk about their goals and dreams, challenges as a women in their society, ways they can be a positive influence for healing and change, and many more topics relating to women issues. You will feel inspired and empowered to become the person you were meant to be.
Course: Conversation
During your personalized English “conversation” lessons, your teacher will engage you in discussion topics of your choice ranging from music, history, pop culture to cooking and current events. The focus will be more on content, fluency, and authentic communication rather than on grammatical and structural correctness. These lessons may include doing role plays, reading passages, or learning song lyrics, with particular attention to pronunciation, new vocabulary, common expressions in English, and grammar structures.
Course: American Culture and Idioms
In this course you will learn about the American culture and explore the similarities and differences between our cultures. You will also practice using common American expressions, idioms, and slang while learning when and with whom to use them.
Recommended for anyone who plans to visit the United States for work, study, or travel and/or people who want to feel more confident communicating with Americans in their workplace, on the telephone, or 
through social media.
Course: U.S. Naturalization Test Preparation
Comfort & Joy English specializes in preparing permanent residents of the United States for the U.S. Naturalization Interview and Civics and English Tests. Eligibility requirements and the Naturalization process, from filling out the N-400 application to taking the Oath of Allegiance, will be covered. During your Skype lessons, you will practice answering the 100 Civics questions and do simulated interviews.
